Hamiltons engine to be checked by FIA PDF Print E-mail
From the race report at Germany the FIA have decided as part of their normal checks to process Lewis Hamiltons engine in accordance to rule 5 of the 2008 Technical Regulations.

The report said:

"The engine of car number 22 is kept sealed in order to carry out further checks according to Article 5 of the
2008 FIA Formula One Technical Regulations. These checks will be done before the Hungarian GP."

It is the simple principle I believe that an athlete also undertakes. If they are fast they get drug tested and I think it's the same here.

I wouldn't believe that anything will come from this scheduled check.
