Qualifying 1 Results & Summary - Kovalainen fastest |

Qualifying 1 produced some interesting results and some rain!
Qualifying one is over and it started to rain just 5 minutes before the session ended. Kovalainen went fastest with the only 19 in the field. David Coutlhard was lucky to get a lap in just before the rain arrived and was able to find 2 tenths in the last sector. A surprising result is that Vettel ended up P3 in this session ahead of the Ferrari’s and BMW’s. Also his team mate Bourdais was above in P6 above Massa. Interesting that Kimi Raikkonen was best in the speed trap with a 301.1 km/h which may show that the McLaren has a bit more wing to rain some more grip in the cornering zones.
